We seem to be settling into a rhythm right now. The Settled Pastor Search Committee is still in development and is nearly done updating the Congregational Profile. Once this is published, we expect to start hearing from candidates. The Board is updating the church Bylaws. We expect to finish this during a work session on June 8th. Therefore, we won’t be holding the congregational meeting until July in order to give us time to present the proposed changes in advance of the congregational meeting. The property and grounds are looking relatively good these days. We spent another morning last Saturday cleaning closets and cupboards. Chuck Harper is relocating the “library” to the Parlor. He will be organizing the books by category over the next couple of weeks. Be sure to check out a book or two to add to your summer reading list.
