Donna’s brother, George Cavedon, had the rainbow flag made and donated it to First Christian Church. Post holes were dug with thanks to Donald. Ellie and Donna supervised the event on November 9, 2019. Coincidentally, this also happened to be the date of Donna’s 33 anniversary of ordination, and her brother’s 69th birthday!
A week following the raising of the flag, sharing with the community who we are and what FCC represents, we had people who came to worship with us because of driving by the church and seeing the flag.
